Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston teamed up in 1992 for The Bodyguard, the story of a former Secret Service agent who reluctantly accepts an offer to protect a singer who has recently received death threats from a stalker. While originally panned by critics, the movie was a commercial success and the soundtrack produced a slew of hits.
